Based on reviews, I opted for this smart switch rather than a cheaper alternative, and I'm very glad I did: 1) It was incredibly easy to connect the wires. ‘In’ and ‘Out’ are clearly marked and it utilises external clip connectors at the cable glands. No fiddling trying to get copper into a hole and securing with a screw. 2) The cable glands are M20 and my 8mm diameter rubber pond cable went through with room to spare (but is very snug with the glands tightened). No struggling with trying to squish the cable through. 3) It’s plug and play – the only time I needed to look at the instructions was to see how to put it into pairing mode (press and hold the button for 5 seconds) and it was immediately recognised by the Tuya app. No need to manually add and configure. 4) Setting up a schedule was easy, add a time for my waterfall to turn off, add another time for it to turn off. Word to the wise – there is no need to open the box. I only did so because I didn’t realise the wire connectors were external to the box on the glands.

Pricey bit of of kit, but well worth it. The quality of this product is superb. Connected automatically within seconds. Very nice piece of kit.

A bit more expensive than similar smart switches but the ease of installation makes it worth it. 3 clips on each end for the wires and you're done. Wish the others I'd bought previously had been as simple

Easy to install and connect to wifi. Using it to control some garden lights. Haven't used the voice activation but setting a timer schedule is really easy and works perfectly. Thoroughly recommend this product.

Does exactly what I'd hope for and the usage charts are a real bonus.

Perfecto para encender y apagar la bomba de la depuradora de la piscina con el teléfono, sin tener que agacharse, ya que la tengo en un arcón enterrado en el suelo. Muy fácil y rápido de emparejar.

gute Konstruktion, leicht anzuklemmen und easy zu programmieren. Und der Preis geht dafür auch in ordnung. Über die App lassen sich Szenen anlegen. Ich hab z.B automatisch bei Sonnenuntergang Außenlampen an und nach zeit wieder aus. Schaltet zuverlässig. Und es ist auch ein Knopf vorhanden für manuelle ein/aus.

Wenn man vorher die Anleitung liest, kann man direkt mit der Installation loslegen und braucht nicht mal Werkzeug, wenn die Adern ab-isoliert sind. So ist die Installation auch für Laien gut möglich. Wenn man den Deckel aufschraubt, ist innen alles gut beschriftet und damit auch ohne Anleitung gut montierbar. Verbindung mit dem Smartphone funktioniert auch super und die Leistungsmessung ebenso. Insgesamt ein gelungenes Produkt!
