Likewise with the clasp part I wasnt sure how it worked at first...but then once I learned how to unclasp them and clasp them...very easy. The material of these is slightly stretchy + somewhat soft, so it feels comfortable to wear. Another benefit besides preventing earloop pain...is that you can also possibly achieve a better fit as well with these. As you can use two of them and then essentially have a dual-strap mask which often have better, tighter fits. These also feel sturdy enough that they will probably last a pretty long time...so happy with the durability and quality for sure. Bottomline: These are a solidly good solution to alleviating ear pain from ear-loop face masks. As they are fairly easy to use, once you get the mechanism open + closed the first time...and they feel pretty durable and good quality as well. You can also perhaps even get a better fit with whatever mask you have when adding these...so its defnitely useful, and I would recommend them. Review: Works for the stated purpose - My mother is ill so I'm one of the folks who still masks just about everywhere. I like mask holders so I can easily pull the mask up and down if I'm running errands and jumping in and out of the car. These are well made and do the job - they've very similar to another brand I own which works for weeks and doesn't wear out before the mask does. It's easy to get the clasp open and closed without struggling with it. I like that some of them are white, usually these are only available in black. I'd order them again and would be interested in other products from this manufacturer.
