im 5'8 185 pounds what size should i get?

Dominick -I'm 6' 230 lbs and I ordered an XXL. I normally wear an XL but because of my stomach I thought I would go up one size. It is a little big in the sleeves and the stomach is a little tight. So-it would depend on your physique (six pack or like my 12 pack) on the size you order. If my stomach wasn't so big, I would have stuck with the XL. I hope this helps. Gary L

Is this safe to machine wash?

Strangely enough, there's no care label (just size). But it's 65% polyester, 35% cotton like my other tac shirts that are machine washable, so I'd say yes.
