I've had my eye on the Logitech G29 for a while, and with the recent price drop to £169.39, it was the perfect time to get one. It's a huge step up from the cheap budget wheels and honestly, for the money, you can't really do much better. It's built like a tank with a solid steel construction and a nice hand-stitched leather steering wheel cover which feels great in your hands. The stainless steel paddle shifters are a nice touch too and they feel really responsive. The force feedback is the main thing here, and it's brilliant. It uses helical gearing which makes it pretty smooth and quiet, unlike some of the older wheels with their clunky gears. The wheel has a 900-degree lock-to-lock rotation, so you can really get a feel for the car on those big wide turns, just like you would in a real car. The pedals are also a big improvement over other brands in this price bracket. It's a full three-pedal set with throttle, brake, and a clutch, which is brilliant if you want to use the optional shifter for more realism. They're pressure sensitive and the brake pedal has a really nice, firm feel to it which helps with precision braking. The force feedback is strong but it's probably not as subtle or as detailed as some of the more expensive direct drive wheels you can get now. Those wheels are in a totally different league price-wise though, so that's not realy a fair comparison. For the price, you get a solid, reliable wheel that will last you for ages and give you a great introduction to sim racing. It's a huge improvement over using a standard controller. Logitech says that a lot of the plastic parts are made from 52% certified post-consumer recycled plastic, which is a nice little bonus and good to know they're thinking about sustainability.

Grabbed a bargain in the Black Friday sale. Came as a pack with the gear shifter. Easy to setup even tho you only get a piece of paper with instructions no actual booklet you’d expect. Download the software for calibration and other settings. Has twist clamps to hold the gear stick to the desk and steering wheel. Would have liked some foam or rubber feet to prevent marks on my desk. Nice soft material too on both the wheel and gear shifter. Pedals has an anti slip grip for carpet which works well. Played wish ET2 and beam ok.

Very good item as expected, steady on the desk, the pedals are realistic. Easy set up and connect to PS5.

TLDR; Good product, irritating customer support — issue will be resolved if you stick it out! Purchased the G29 (alongside a shifter) to use on my PC to play racing games. For 2 weeks, it was awesome. No issues whatsoever. Very good FFB, responsiveness & incredibly easy to setup. Then an issue with the shifting appeared. Quick google search seemed to suggest that it’s quite common with G29’s & it’s just the button itself wearing down. While it is fixable yourself by opening it up, it’s recommended to contact retailer if item is still in its warranty period. For 2 days, I got bounced backward and forward between Amazon & Logitech’s respective support teams. Each telling me to contact the other. After hassling them both consistently for 2 days, Amazon offered me a Partial refund (I believe it was 20%) & keep the item, or return for a full refund. No offer of a direct replacement/swap was offered, which is incredibly frustrating. Luckily after many emails, Logitech offered to replace the product. I took their offer, it arrived in 2 days & I’ve been enjoying it ever since.

Great entry point for people looking to get into driving games. Honestly it might seem like an investment if you are just dipping your toes in, but honestly anything cheaper is just not as good. This has a great high quality feel, the force feedback is good too. If you are expecting these to feel like the cheap arcades, this feels a lot better. I am hooked after 1 week of it. You wont need an upgrade for a longgggg time unless you start getting really deep into sim racing and want to simulate f1 conditions.

So although I'm only a casual gamer, I've always enjoyed playing racing games on my PS4 (F1, Gran Turismo etc). As a child and a teenager, I used to love going to the arcades and playing OutRun, Ridge Racer etc, and so I have to say I was quite excited to buy this, although sometimes the memories of years gone by vs the reality are very different. However, this steering wheel and pedals didn't disappoint. Firstly - the setup. It was totally straightforward. I don't have a proper gaming setup, so was attaching this to a normal desk, and the pedals onto normal carpet. The steering wheel, once you take the time to properly tighten the clamps doesn't budge, and the pedals, once you ensure the carpet gripper is in place, again virtually never moves (if you press really hard onto the top of the break pedal (not the front, the top), then it can tilt, but if used properly, it wont move. The Wheel - it's responsive, the feedback from games like GT7 / F1 2021 is awesome and increases the feeling of being in the car. You have more buttons on the steering wheel than are needed for either game, but I'm sure if I was a more serious racer, I could find uses for them. The tiptronic gears are incredibly responsive too, and yet it's still easy to navigate around the games when not racing using the steering wheel. The only thing which you'll need a controller for is if you want to attach wired headphones into something. The Pedals - I have to say I read the reviews of "the stiff brake pedal" with a little concern.....however, it's stiff like a normal brake pedal in a car. For those who had taken out the spring etc, I guess you want more of an arcade feel than a real car feel. Logitech have done an amazing job with the pedals to create reality, whilst ensuring the practicalities aren't compromised. Overall - I can't find a fault with it. I'm sure it's cheaper than all the £1's I put into OutRun and Ridge Racer when I was growing up!

Super Lenkrad zu einem fairen Preis. Haptik und Force Feedback ist einfach genial. Für Simulationen super geeignet. Wer im Hobbybereich ein paar Rennen fahren will, macht damit viel richtig.
