Make teeth feel super clean
Definitely not a replacement for regular brushing, but a good alternative, for when you are unable to brush. These swabs are soft on teeth and gums, but have a sturdy stick, so you can apply a decent amount of pressure. The swabs leave your teeth feeling very clean! Outside of their intended use, these would be great to carry in your purse, car or keep at work.

Easy to carry in bag to quickly freshen up
These are great to throw in a purse or bag for use whenever a quick brush is needed. I just wet the tip and then use the swab just like a toothbrush. The little wedges cut into the swab act like the brush tips to get in the crevices between the teeth and on top. I usually keep two to three with me at all times.

No toothbrush, this will help
So I tried one out as soon as they arrived to see if they would work in a pinch overnight hospital stay or in my vehicle and purse in case I eat something that would leave seeds or greens in my teeth. I was surprised how well this worked no, it’s not like my electric deep cleaning toothbrush, but it works, I added a few to each glove box of the vehicles and put a few and some different purses. The rest were really good for the homeless shelter and the domestic violence shelter. These with the chewable toothpaste tablets are perfect for on the go or in a spot and one in your mouth and teeth cleaned.

Kind of flimsy compared to other oral swabs I've tried
The sponge on this is very soft, so it's comfortable when being used. There's no scratchiness to or irritation, and it does hold together well. The handle, however, is flimsy. It bends if you apply any pressure to it at all. If you're only using this to hydrate a patients mouth that may be ok. However, if you plan on using this for anything else, I would suggest another brand.

Not meant for everyone.
These are generally used in care setting where an individual can not brush their teeth for whatever reason as a means of preventing oral infections or issues. They won’t replace a toothbrush for someone who can brush their teeth. They work well for their intended purpose.
