Q: After i put it on, as instructed, the film falls off the next day. anyone knows why? what can i do to make sure it stays on?

First the glass needs to be very clean. Then soak it with sprayed on water, soak the film with spray also. Lots of water is the key. The "water" needs to be either the solution sold for this or regular water with a couple of small drops of dish soap in it. Really make the window and film very wet. Then it sticks just fine. When you get it on the window, then squeegee the water out from between film and glass. I only had one of nine windows have one corner that peeled loose, just sprayed it with more water and sqeegied it down. Stuck fine.

Q: Will this work on glass cabinet door to keep from seeing inside merchandise?

As long as the cabinets aren't lighted on the inside.

Q: Doesn’t work as described? why would the inner glass be warmer than a non-tinted one? to the touch, warmer.

The heat that the film is preventing from going inside has to go somewhere. Some gets reflected back out (hence it’s mirror quality when viewed from outside), but other wavelengths get absorbed by the material (causing the material to feel hot to the touch). The window without the film just lets all the light to pass through and into the house, heating up the floor, furniture, whatever else it reaches. It’s the same reason why black cars get hotter to touch than white cars in the summer; the black paint absorbs all the wavelengths of light in the visible spectrum, causing it to get hot, whereas white paint reflects it back.
