MillSO Headphone Splitter 3.5mm

Purchased this adapter to use on my PC which has a combination port. That means it has a single 3.5mm plug that handles both microphone and headset audio. That's great for gaming headsets or devices that have both in one, but I wanted to use my RODE shotgun microphone for better audio during video meetings and pair it with a headset. This adapter splits the audio and microphone input. I simply plug the mic in to the marked plug, and the headsets to the marked audio plug. WORKS GREAT. PROS - GREAT headset sound quality. There's no deterioration of quality, interference, or any static. - RODE mic worked perfectly without any interference either. - There is a recessed portion of the plug which makes it easier to pull the plug out rather than being 100% the same level and smooth which is much more slippery. - the brained cable is very flexible and yet durable. Keep in mind, it is not the stiff type like a wire - I LOVE the color. It's glossy, and a metallic blue color, very modern. - it even comes with a simple strap that keeps the cables together. Nothing fancy. CONS - none that I can think of so far.

Great item from this company, and I hope to do business with them soon. It has been durable and strong enough for my headset and plugged into my computer for a week now. I was searching for headphone splitter for two TRRS single plug headset and this works. I like the cable construction for the wiring and how it wont fray or break at all. Great price for those looking at options for those who are trying to find two TRRS single plug headset. This doesn't work for one dual plug headset with separate audio and mic plug by the way. just a heads up! enjoy!

This product works. You can turn one TRRS outlet into two TRRS outlets. I wanted this to be able to plug in both my headset (TRRS) and my PC speakers (TRS) at the same time, so I could listen on the speakers without putting on my headset when I don't need a microphone. Well, if you plug a TRS (e.g. stereo speaker only) cable into either output, then the microphone will not work on the other. Then you either have two speaker-only connectors, or two speaker/microphone connectors, but not one of each. So when I plugged my speakers in, the microphone on my headset didn't work. I tried four different TRS cables, and all of them disabled the microphone on the second connector. I had to buy an extra TRRS cable to use with my PC speakers. So now it works the way I wanted (speakers and headset with microphone both simultaneously active), but I had to buy that extra cable.

Exactly as advertised. Exceeds expectations. Good value: effective.

The sections which integrated the cables and other components are secured and sturdy. The grips are not threaded but easy enough to use. I mostly used it on my new laptop, and it managed to retain good level of sound quality(good enough for average use). I have not tested, but as other feedback may have mentioned, may not work consistently on some smartphones or tablets.
